CIEE Business, Engineering, Arts and Sciences Program in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
Develop your Arabic language skills and your understanding of the Gulf region’s role in the Arab World and the global economy, in Sharjah. In addition to intensive language study and courses in Middle Eastern and Gulf studies, study abroad in the UAE offers you innovative activities and excursions, that allow you to immerse yourself in local culture and witness the daily intersection of traditional values and modern realities.

The Business, Engineering, Arts and Sciences study abroad program at the CIEE Study Center at the American University of Sharjah is designed to help students improve their Arabic language skills, develop an understanding of the Gulf region and its role in the Arab World and global economy, and learn firsthand about the daily intersection of traditional values and modern realities. Through direct matriculation in Arabic language and area studies courses at the American University of Sharjah, and innovative program activities and excursions, students become immersed in the cultural and social life of the University and local community.
